Easy HP Gains & Faster 1/4

I'm specifically looking for some easy hp gains that I can do without spending alot of money on parts, just my own labor. Such as porting the intake manifold, weight reductions for lower ET, exc. I haven't found alot of organized information on hp gains from these types of things, only tutorials on how to do them. Is there some kind of list or estimate as to what kind of gains to expect from porting, if its even worth my time at the stage I am at? (Mods listed in profile) Also I read somewhere that a reduction of 100 pds = roughly .1 off the ET. Is this true?

Porting your turbine housing isnt going to make a number of horse power more. It basically will help with spool a little and over all flow to the turbo.

I heard of that 100lb thing to but I'm not sure if that's true, but weight reduction can help out it just depends how far you are willing to take it. I am not sure of a list that gives specific numbers of how much you gain.

But the 100lbs is roughly .1 off your ET is correct.
