1:30 finish up photos and off to shopping and what ever at Broadway at the beachnext to the 17 Bypass between 21st and 29th Avenues North. -lunch at your leasure

6pm meet back up in preperation for dinner

I used to go to the side of the Convention Center to take pics of cars. Great background, huge paintings of whales on the sides of the CC, plenty of palm trees and plenty of parking. There's a restaurant up in the mid 30's street in Myrtle that has a parking lot right off the ocean, if you can get there early enough, you can get a great pic of your car with the ocean in the background. Either that or Holiday Inn in Surfside Beach.

Ditto. I have several with both sceneries. Yeah Pete is it! Sweet looking car and he did a heck of a job with the welding on the FMIC piping. He's pretty cool and the Epik crew is supposed to ride with him and a few of his buddies to the track some time soon hopefully. I hear you on the WRX and next time I see him I will tell him. We don't get to see him a lot because he works nights a lot but in the summer we see him all the time chillin in the cop golfcart on the Boulevard. That little cart hauls ass. I think Pete turboed it....j/k.... Btw we have two STi package WRX's here. Both dipping in the 12's on their stock clutches. One of them will be upgrading to a stage 4 axxis engine soon.

I'm not sure who is driving yet. My car is torn apart for a motor build. I might just slap it back together to drive down there, who knows.

group rates are sort of out of the question seeing it is off seson and the hotels are dirt cheap for that week and 1 week after .

I drove down last year if I recall I went straight down 17 which is close by. I'll go 95 to meet up with people if thats gonna be arranged.

I'll be coming down 95 as well...only issue is that my buddy who is coming with me has class till 11, so I wont be leaving the MD till around 12.

btw -- how many people are actually going to be down there?? I dont wanna spend the money that i dont have if there are only going to be like 5 people down there.

Okay anyone coming from up north here is a how to get to Myrtle Beach. There are 3 main ways of getting here. We have I-95, Highway 17 and Highway 501. Highway 17 runs through Wilmington and goes straight through North MB and MB. I am not too sure where 17 ends up at but it mainly follows the coastline of the Carolinas. For those traveling I-95 you can get off the Interstate and catch Hwy 501. Can be a little misleading because they are doing construction on the roads around South of the Border so I really discourage anyone with a lowered ride from driving through that......way too bumpy and potholes from hell there. I would go into Florence and travel down Hwy 76 which turns into Hwy 501. I will going to Florence Friday after work to pick up the gf. Should be there around 6:00 pm. If anyone wants to wait/show up around Florence at between 6:15 and 6:30 or even later let me know. I'll be more than glad to meet up with you guys off the exit and show you into Myrtle Beach. Just reply or PM me and I'll give ya a phone # to contact me at if you need help. Otherwise.....See ya at the BEACH!
