it's march 12th, so not far away at all. there is already 40 some people signed up go to, that's not including the other boards that will show up, last year there was an srt-4 showing, 3kgt/stealth, the dcevoclub were there, supras, you name it practically they were there.

the parking lot is wide open on saturday. It could fit about 40 cars probably. But the lake idea isn't a bad idea at all.

I'll start putting it together and set up a definite time.
 
sounds good! the lake idea is a good one i think, just b/c by the sounds of it, there might be quite a few people wanting to go, atleast from around here there is 5 people i know of there are VERY interested in going up :thumb:

ok. Ill start a list of who's coming and how many people are coming with them. We can set up a time to meet at my garage and then all cruise up to the lake. The lake is about 5 miles from the garage, thru the city and up thru the lake so it will be a nice little cruise. If it rains, no big deal, party at the garage! I heard Ithaca DSM was interested too.

I may need a little help on the funding, so if everyone could bring something, or chip in for something (food, supplies, misc cheap stuff), that would be great.
 
Ithica DSM was who i had talked to that was coming so awesome. And great idea on the cruise, will deffinitly be there and i'll bring some $hit... :thumb:

so that's me, my brother, and my girlfriend (if nobody minds... :confused: ) 3 total for me :p
 
i'd think you would need to find out how many people are coming first so you'd know how much to get...

what if i started another thread and just said to post your name and how many people are coming or are expected?

sherloc123, what all do you need done to your car to get it to run, I might be around the area soon, perhaps I can give you a little help.
 
im ordering my head gasket head studs fuel pump and bearings. i gotta get my engine on the stand and tear it down and put all the new stuff in. get my pistons put on my rods. once thats all together i gotta put it back in the car, which will e the hardest part cause my awesome brother moved bolts around. all i need to find really are te tranny transfer case and motor mount bolts. ut i think im gonna order new motor mounts also
 
so the longest part should be the waiting for parts....are you going aftermarket with the motor mounts or are you getting stock replacements? I could use one of the nuts from your motor mount if you got a spare, mine got stripped and was replaced by a pep boys one, doesn't quite fit as tight as it should though. other then that it sounds like you should be alright, especially since what you have that most people don't have is an engine stand! me and my friend rob did my headgasket and arp head studs without anything, that sucked let me tell ya...:thumb: what part of albany are you located?
 
im removing my balance shafts as we speak, and i already have a prothane kit. The stock motor mount gave out and snapped the 2 bolts that hold my intermediate shaft together, for the 3rd time. Now I got those 10mm bolts tapped out to 7/16, and 1/2 inch, LOL.

I just pressed out the ring on my driver side mount and Im going to press in the prothane mount tonite. :)

When I got more time, I'll start a list, those who are coming PM me that you are coming for sure and i'll write it down.
 
you could always remove the balance shaft like we did in my car....one of the bearings seized and it ended up slipping the timing like 3-4 teeth, then made this unbearable sound, so we just took the balance shaft belt out...simple fix with what we had... OMG

well, im almost done removing the balance shafts, what a PITA. I got my new head from j and c cylinder heads, i just gotta get new lifters, and a new exhaust, and new injectors (sold my pte 680's), im ordering my 50 trim friday, gotta send out my ecu for my keydiver chip, send the car to the paint shop then do suspension, about 3k dollars later, I should be able to drive it. I want to do a 4 bolt rear swap before june, but i dont know if im going to wait to blow the 3 bolt, or wait for a killer deal on a 4 bolt. 400 plus shipping just doesn't seem to catch my attention right now.
