Last night, I was cruising around just gettin a feel for ol' girl. Everything was good, stayed off boost most of the night. I decided to go home down Fry Rd and take that to US-290. I had just made the turn off of I-10 onto Fry Rd when i heard a loud pop when i pushed the clutch in to get to 2nd.
I had enough speed to pull into the parking lost at O'Reilys. My clutch pedal was all the way to the floor. I started looking around and i found a piece of the clutch saftey switch with the bearing in the middle lying on the floor.
I looked at the piece it just snapped on the corner. That's when i realized that there is no quick fix. I spent $105 to get a flatbead tow truck to tow me back to the house. This morning woke up early enough to examine, and discovered that the rest of the piece was a pain to remove.
