FYI, if you wish to avoid seasonal blends in the metro area, Hill Petroleum is 85/15 all year round.

Thanks for the link! All I've ever seen to use was the ostrich burners which are like $175 so this is great.

The Ostrich is an emulator, not a burner. The company that makes them is Moates and their burner is called BURN2 that is only $85.

Im setting up a 1g for my gf with a similar setup. E85, 2g maf, 680s and maybe an auto fpr depending on what the a/f is like. Ill be using a wideband though because you can run extremely lean with e85 and never see any knock. Another benifit of e85 over gas is that it has a much wider spread of max power rich to max power lean. That allows for a much wider varience of a/f ratio while still making good power. Some people tune to 10.5(gas scale) while others tune to 12.5:1(gas scale) and anywhere in between all with good results.

Is it an optimal setup? No. Will it work well? Probably.

A buddy of mine ran an evo maf, 1150's, safc and that was it for tuning his e85. The evo maf leans the motor out so much that the safc had no problems controlling the large injectors with e85.

Did not know that, wish we had one here in the Springs.

Somebody mentioned the other day that Acorn stations stock 85/15 all year as well. I have not tried to verify that, but we do have those here CoSpgs. Definitely worth a look.

1g. At stock timing he was around 27* at WOT. With a little adjustment of the CAS he got it down too 22-23*.

I ran safc, maf-t and 1200's for the longest time. I also had to pull the CAS back a little. But still worked out great.
