We had a club dyno day last saturday and it was the first time i put the car on the dyno. I was expecting much around 260-280 to the wheels. I ended up with 311.7whp and 305 max torque. It was hot as hell 101F in the dyno bay. Anyway the dyno sheet is posted on the bottom. Ignore the run conditions temp as that is wrong like i said it was around 101F. As for the airfuel thats pretty lean if you ask me but that was my mistake to begin with as i leaned the afc -5% across the whole board on the high settings and i am sure that was the cause of that. I did the run on 104octane and was running 20psi. Egt's looked pretty good at 1,550F and not going above that. I have all the supporting mods the only thing that i see now that is a restriction to me is the 2g Head and Intake Manifold. I already have a 1g head/intake manifold that i am getting ported and installing some Crower titanium valves, springs, and retainer in preparation for the HKS 272's. This was done with 550's so their is no confusion. I have a modded 97ecu with 550cc compensation done by XS Engineering so the afc just needs to be set a 0 :)

What FMIC you running? Next time boost 25psi :thumb: nice numbers, I liek the dyno pull with the most tourque, #2, more torque = betta for me :D

15:1 A/F!!!!! what was your timing like? you are much braver than i'll ever be!! nice numbers either way and i like the torque curve :thumb:

that cant be right, the car wouldnt even run right at that lean level...something is off

Dunno about timing, last time i checked with the logger i was getting 19 degrees at redline. As for the airfuel your right nazthug as of now were thinking that maybe there was something wrong with the wideband on the dyno. But whats weird though is that alot of the people that dynoed were either too rich or too lean like me. Alot of people were in the 14 airfuel range.

Ditto, something had to be wrong with the dyno's wideband reader.

LOL, sounds like a narrow band

either too lean or too rich

i dont think the ecu would like that lean condition and would not let the car even go wot....

but good numbers, just be carefull, you may still be super lean, check your plugs and egts

thats why i have a permanent wideband in my car, always know exactly where im aat

plus, it would take you a very nice Standalone and alot of hours on the dyno to get the a/f that straight, LOL

something is definetly wrong with it

^^^^^good call on both counts!!! that's the straightest most lean A/F i have ever seen. took me a little bit to realize how impossible that would be.
mmmmmm....wideband in the car, i wish i had a wideband in my car!

Maybe you haven't updated your mod list in a while, but it says you are still running the t25. I hope you upgraded your turbo before you purchased a wideband and run it all the time on the t25...

i got mine for only $400, thats cheap for the kind of tuning it lets you do at any time

the wideband i took out of my old project, my turbo focus

and i am finishing up my FMIC piping now to go along with the 16g at the end of the week

But i have been using the wideband with the t25, yes, whats wrong with that?

Maybe it had something to do with my 101.5mph trap speed on a fulll weight gst with heavy 18's in the heat of the day on a tiny t25 with stock smic, LOL....tuning works on any setup.

Oh, nothing's wrong with that. It's just odd to find someone who gets a wideband before other go fast parts. I applaud you for having the tuning tools well in advance. Many people forget the tuning aspect of our cars; they just want to slap on a bigger turbo, injectors, safc, and then won't why they have problems because they used their friend's safc settings! I've known some people who get a fmic, 660injectors with the t25. They get all the supporting mods so when they get their big arse turbo, they have everything else ready to go. Those same people are also the ones who want to try and run the fastest time they can with the t25. And to do that you would need to have it tuned perfecty, and a wideband would do that. So I was just wondering with my question...no offense. :)

And yes they are cheap(er) these days. I got my LM-1 setup with rpm hook up and exhaust clamp for under $500. What model wideband did you go with?

What was your time with that 101.5mph trap speed. That might be the highest I've heard for at t25 (I'm sure they're better, but that's up there...) Also on cali 91oct or race gas?

LOL, i never go to a track on pump gas, i dont know why people do, maybe to excuse their times if they dont turn out good? LOL

You go to a RACE track, so use RACE gas, is my rule, no reason not to, at least for that safety margin.

That was on 100 octane because im still running through a high flow cat so i cant run leaded.

That was at a 18psi spike, settle to about 15-16psi on the t25

The time was BAD, 14.2 because of a 2.5 60ft, LOL...im on crappy 18's with way too much wheelhop back then(now i have poly bushings in the front suspension, as well as motor mounts and better coilovers)

BTW, i recently installed my 550s with my t25, and after i tuned them to the a/f i wanted, the car actually pulls stronger because of the timing i am thinking, pulls hard.

16g and FMIC should be in by this weekend :thumb:

sorry for hijacking the thread

I just hope my small 16g can put down similar dynos

haha no problem, this was done with the EvoIII Big16G theres no way a t25 can reach those numbers. As for Egt's they were at 1550 all the way to WOT. Also the reason for that airfuel being so straight is because i have a modded 97 ecu done by Xs Engineering with 550cc compensation and some other stuff to it according to the guy who let me borrow it until he gives me back my 95eeprom. I also have an afc but i just set that to 0% across the board because when we checked with the logger the fuel trims were perfect. So i don't need to touch them at all unless i decide to run race gas in which i will probably have to lean it out just a tad :) Also it was decided that the dyno people forgot to reset the computer after each car did there run so that airfuel ratio is wrong because i know i shouldn't be running that lean.

how much was that turbo anyway?

I got that turbo last September when they came out it was $569 then now i beleive they are $535 or something along those lines. Its a very decent turbo
