where have you guys put dynamat in your car? the only place i can think about putting it is the doors since i don't want to tear everything out.

Doors, floors, interior side of firewall, roof, walls next to rear seat, under rear seat, trunk, interior side of rear wheel wells, rear body panel.

the trunk floor, front, and sides, and the panels next to the rear seat.

I'm waiting to determine whether I want to put another set of 6" subs in the doros or 8"s before use dynamat extreme on the backside of the doorskin and to replace the vappr barrier to seal them up, and then I will do the floor completely from stem to stern.
I'm also still need to check that the locktite IS holding the window nuts securely as I don't wnat to destry the dynamat to tighten the tracks up again.

I've been starting to put it everywhere it isnt noticible ( i even lined my glove box with it, just because i had extra :D )

get dynamat extreme, it's got aluminum backing so it helps with heat as well as is stiffer than normal sound deadeners (so you need less weight of material to do the job/ normal materials rely on WEiGHT to deaden sounds), and it is not asphalt based so you don't smell like you work paving roads everytime you drive the car for 2 weeks afterwards.

The others (even my former favorite cascade), don't work as well as the extreme.

One trunk kit will get your trunk and aft of the doors, and 1 other kit should get the doors inside and out and have some for the floor wells (lots of heat and noise on the drivers side b/c of the piping). :thumb:

I think 100% extreme trunk kits only cost $20 more than the 60% original 40% extreme kit

Get Fatmat, its much cheaper than dynamat

dynamat is the material to deaden the sound not just a brand name, some company just used it as a brand name( i believe)...

Are you guys using it to deaden road noise or for stereo sound quality? I was thinking about using it for road noise.. The car would be awsome if it had no road noise? Let me know.. TTY

Brand name

both, less road noise makes for better audio.

I put mine throughout the whole interior. I used the spray on kind and I actually used stinger roadkill instead of dynamat.

How much does it reduce road noise thought. Mine in from the back is starting to bug me?
