Actually for once someone was honest with me. When I was driving my car with my homeboy in the passenger, cruising the streets of hialeah late night, I vented my greddy type S blow off valve because I heard someone else with another BOV that sounded real nice about 100 yards ahead (I heard it that far). From far, I thought it was a VW Jetta 1.8 Turbo, but then as I got close, it turned out to be a Turbocharged Audi A4, which is a whole lot better than your usual Jetta IMO.

So I vented my BOV near him and he vented his back, which it sounded very nice I admit. I just didn't know which type of BOV it was and I was eager to know. So we kept venting our BOV's back and fourth. Just another good ol' Blow Off Valve fight which is common down here, ! Speaking of which, I once tried it with a Black Twin Turbocharged Corvette C6 that had an HKS SSQV BOV on I-95, I lost nasty once he dropped it in gear and shot out to the horizon where I couldn't see him anymore. Must have been that 800+HP beast of a corvette we hear about down here.

But anyway, I give a thumbs up to the Turbocharged Audi venting his BOV and as were driving I yell across:

Me: "WHAT KIND OF BLOW OFF VALVE DO YOU HAVE!?" (yelling)
Audi guy: "What!?"
Me: "What kind of blow off valve do you have!?!?"
Audi guy: "What!?" (still yelling)
My friend (passenger): "WHAT KINDA BLOW OFF VALVE DO YOU HAVE!!!!" (yelling)
Audi guy: "What? I cant hear!? (Points at his ear)
My friend (passenger): "WHAT KINDA F***ING BLOW OFF VALVE DO YOU HAVE!!!!" (yelling out loud, )
Audi guy: "Oh sorry, I don't know."
Me: "Oh ok." (thumbs up gesture)

Then as I turned away, I told my friend "I bet daddy has been spoiling his son a little too much! HA!"
But hey, at least he was honest and didn't make an ass out of himself!

This thread is cracking me up. I got one I just remembered from way back.

I went to my buddies new appt to check out thier swapped hatches (yea i know, they were sleepers though. gotta respect that). All of a sudden I see this pothead rice boy honduh toona from high school a few years back. He sees my Talon and gets a little interested. asked me to pop the hood, so I did. The first thing he says... "aftermarket turbo kit?" I said "nope, thats the stocker". "oh, it looks too big for stock".

Right before he walks away he adds "see that right there? (pointing to the BOV vacuum line) if you pull that line off and plug it your car will make a loud whoosh when you shift!" "oh, really?"

I just let if go after that, it was obvious this kid fried his brains a little too much.

i look under the hood all stock except for a greddy bov just one and a greddy turbo back exhaust he takes me for a ride in it and his "3" bovs was just his one fluttering like a mofo haha then we go on to this convo

me-thats ## turbo timer the thing above the steering wheel cools your turbo down somewhat after you drive the car

My homies and I were at Starbucks, and this guy rolls up, seems to be a straight crack head, He rolls up to my friend and asked if we were going to run, we all replied with no, he rolled to my boys FD because her heard the BOV, and proceeded with telling him that it was his dream car and all that, then told him about his past car that was pushing "35" psi. My homie said "I wish to do that sooner or later" the guy replies with " You need to rebuild your head to run that kinda boost" 0_o, ahaha he then says that he cut the exhaust system after his turbo and he is running a 3.5 exhaust. WTF!????

i own a 3g dsm. my car is more jdm then a stock 2g gs and rs. the 420a is a dodge motor, not a dsm motor like my 4G64. the 3g block is the same block as in the 1gs and 2gs, the main difference is the head. why do most of you people talk crap about the 3gs. my stock 150bhp and 160tq will smoke any 1g and 2g rs and gs all day long.

after you read that you all are thinking, another 3ger who dont know shit, but thats not me. i bought the 3g cause its newer, i like the body design and i love the 4G motors. i dont wanna hear nothing about how none of the 3gs came turboed or awd, i already know that and am working on a fabrication design to fix that problem. i want some true answers about this.

This kid recently bought a 95 gsx. I seen it the other day and now it has a stomach killer blitz body kit. I talked to him and wanted to slap him. Now he wants to get some chrome wheels and a GT wing he seen on ebay. I was sick to my stomach.

I went to the junkyard the other day, and found a 95 Auto GST. Well I was taking the exhaust manifold off, and turbo and some dude walked over to me and asked me "does that thing got Vtec?" I looked at him and said, This isnt a honda yo. . Hes like is it fast, I said its alright..........ahaha he walked away.
