I have had my DSM since I was 19/20 years old. It broke...a lot and I couldn't afford to pay someone to fix it, especially when they didn't fix it correctly.
Yea this ^^^ is what pretty much got me into working on my car especially the part about them half as fixing my car or "fixing" things that did not need to be fixed.
you really get into it (I am an Engineer) you start to see how various parts pretty much interact the same. Plus, a lot of research and DIY's from communities such as this are also a huge bonus.
I wish I would have started earlier or took some type of Vo-tech class in high school to learn more about cars and stuff. Especially regarding internals since I have yet to touch on that area. Anyways kudos to you
