If you can get Luke to stop by he is more than capable of helping diagnose the problem.

As far as that dyno vid posted above, it looks just like the Drift Office dyno area. But either way that can happen at any dyno.

I think Jeff was referring to getting help down at BOTI in Kent.

It would be great if I could get someone to come over to my house and help me get it running and than I have no problem spending a little bit of money getting it fully tuned and putting it on a dyno.

That is not the dyno and pina,s i dont know where you got that info,,, his dyno has never wreck any car. please watch what you say before bashing a dsm shop please!,,

both shops are great ,it all boils down to how far away are your wanting to drive for repair work.

I never bashed any shop, just took what was given to me. If you read what I posted, I have never heard any bad things about PINA or English.

It's not repair work per say, it's more of a tune/dyno.

BUT, I STILL NEED SOMEONE LOCAL TO SWING BY AND GIVE ME A HAND GETTING IT RUNNING. ANYONE? BUEHLER?

Thank you for stating that.

Andre and Lucas are both good people.
The way I look at it:
The amount of money you will save by going to Lucas to have him tune your car if you drive it down there, is what you will spend in gas anyways.

Save some time and have a shorter drive, throw it up on the Dyno and get a wideband hooked up to it and watch the professional do the work.

I wouldn't mind having either Andre or Lucas work on my car, however I do most of my work myself. They just have better tuning capabilities.

Crazy, you need to know the facts before you jump out and point fingers at shops.

Anyone can have a car fall off of the dyno, its the way things go when running on a dyno, it CAN happen, and they obviously didn't do it on purpose and overlooked something, people make mistakes -- we are human after all.

I've never dealt with drift office so I can't chime in about them, but they are well known from what I've seen/heard. Any shop that is out here in the PNW that is still going obviously knows what they are doing otherwise they wouldn't be in business.

Pina, English, Drift Office, Illtech -- I'm sure are all good reputable shops in the PNW area.

EDIT: I OWN page two:D

Got my new front oxygen sensor in. I am still looking for some help...

I am about to throw my 1G MAF back in just to make it run...

I could be looking at this wrong but under A/F ration properties you have your injectors set for 450cc instead of 680cc which would give you a wrong reading if thats what you are tuning off of.

I didnt mean you laser i was refering to crazy,s comment.....there,s alot of guys on here with link im sure you,ll get it solved

Sounds good. I am going to call Andre down at PINA on Monday and see what they have available for an appt.

I am betting it will take a few weeks to get in.

So, same offer still stands. I will cover drinks/dinner/lunch for someone willing to help me get this thing worked out!

This IS NOT the dyno at our facility. If you'd like to see videos of dynos at our shop visit our webpage at Welcome to Pinamotorsports - Welcome to Pina Motorsports!. Please lets not go around spreading things that we aren't sure about. We use a DynoDynamics dyno and have NEVER jumped a car off the rollers with cars running well into the 700hp range.

Wrong, Wrong, Wrong... That was at the DynoJet at Drift Office in Auburn. Not at Pina. Open-dumped wastegate burned through a strap.

As always, I say take it down to Lucas. Everyone is going to have their opinion and it all comes down to the person to do decide where to go.

lccynmbr - I sent an e-mail to the shop about a week and a half ago to get a tuning appointment and haven't heard anything back yet. When would you guys be able to get me in for a tune and to double check my GM MAFT install?

Just got off the phone with Andre, sounds like I am bringing the car down to the shop tomorrow.

Here are the new logs for everyone to check out.

I'm curious as to why your fuel settings are the way they are. According to the wiki, you should have -29 global and 300 deadtime.

Also, it looks like your front o2 sensor is dead as it's not cycling. Or maybe this is caused because you clicked the OpenLoop button. Did you mean to do this? If not, un-highlight it and post up another log so that I can see your LTFT's and STFT.

Edit: Must've missed the last post. Oh well. Hopefully they get it running right for you!

Well, dropped the car off yesterday morning with Andre down at PINA.

Chatted with him for a few and headed home. Called Andre today to check in and see how things were going. It appears that the car has somehow, in a period of less than 12 hours of inactivity developed quite a problem.

Andre went to pull the car into the car bay last evening and no power. None of the electronics, lights, etc. work whatsoever. He proceeded to check the battery, plenty of juice; all the fuses looked great, etc. etc. I have owned the car for roughly 6 months with zero problems similar to this. It has sat for weeks at a time and never had any problems starting right up or keeping power to all the accessories. I am just shocked how this can happen so quickly with NOTHING being done to the car.

Anyone ever experience this problem?

I am very frustrated seeing as this was supposed to be quite an easy venture for Andre to undertake. Simply check/correct the install of my GM MAF Translator and than tune my DSMLink up on the dyno and be done with it.

Help...

I said LTFT's, meaning there are multiple. Yes, I know that the 1g's use 3 LTFT's vs. a 2g using 2. And 1g's do still use STFT.

Chill I was giving you a hard time, Most people don't think about it when they are use to talking about what they drive
the low trim on a 1g is A Short Term Fuel trim It changes very quick I guess you could say that 1g's have 2 long term trims .... then... But there just fuel trims in the end So Who give's a $hite

UPDATE:

Andre got the car running. He threw a jumper box to it and cranked up the amps, fired right up. Turned the car off and than tried to start it without the box, again, started right up. Andre thinks the battery just may not have enough amps to get it going.

He also did a few basic settings with my translator and DSMLink before calling it a day yesterday. Sadly, Andre and the shop is closed for the next few days for the Labor Day weekend, so Tuesday is the next time he'll get back to work on my car.

I'll have a few more things for him to do once he gets back though. I put in a brand new OE front oxygen sensor a couple days ago and the DSMLink isn't showing any activity with it. Also, I am going to see if he can throw the car on the dyno and do a full tune with the current set-up.
