dsmlink run. need suggestions

my fuel through the rpm range is around 11.3 11.4 and my timing is low yet im knocking.

just askin for some suggestions and ill go from there i guess

I cant read the file, but if you give more info like how much boost your running, how much knock and how much timing are you hitting. Also what type of fuel.

im running 22 psi on 93 octane. I believe i should be shooting for 18.5 timing with 11.5 fuel.

my fuel is at low 11's through rpm range so i have the fuel but the wierd thing is my timing is low but im still knocking and if i raise the timing, wont i knock more ??

at 4500 rpm, i read knock 2.1 on dsmlink timing is 14 degrees, 5k knock is 1.8 15.3 timing.

can i knock if timing is too low ?? it seems i see less knock the closer i am to 18 degrees

when my timing is 15.7 knock is 1.1 then when im at 14.5 timing, i hit 3.2 on knock

so maybe i should raise timing ?

Its probably the crappy winter gas. 22 psi on a GT13 is a good bit. Try throwing some octane booster in or a shot of race gas if its available and see if helps out. Dont raise the timing, it will knock more.

good advice. Whenever I have wierd knock issues that i cant figure out i always try to throw in some higher octane somewhere, somehow, to figure out if its in fact "real knock" or a gas issue. Even though high octane is hard to come by in the bay area.

How far off is your boost gauge in comparison to link? If you look at your boost est at 5500rpm, your running 28psi, not 22. I don't know if that can be a factor or not as well.
