There's a list of adapters that will work on the Dsmlink forums.

Or you can always hit their "wiki" site for a little easier finding of the basic information.............http://dsmlinkwiki.redacresracing.com/default.aspx/DSMLink/DSMLink.html

However, you need to remember that the cable is not the important thing with connecting to DSMLink, it's the "dongle" that actually hooks up to the OBD2 connector that's important.

ok, well if you have a logger cable for example, with the obd port and serial on the other end, for the cable to work with dsmlink you need the dongle, correct? is there a place that you can just get that, to save yourself from having to buy the cable and software? or people who buy socketed eproms from other members?

Yes, you need the dongle/adapter for DSMLink to work.
No, the only place you can get the dongle is through DSMLink and they only sell new ones with a new order. If it needs to be repaired you can send in the old one and have it fixed or replaced as necessary.

They've had issues with people bootlegging their product and calling in saying they lost/got stole the dongle and getting a new one to use with the bootleg copy. They no longer do that.............if you don't have the dongle, you're screwed.

A logger cable will NOT work with DSMLink.

Isn't that like stealing DSMLink?
If somebody else is selling their DSMLink they will have and be providing the chip (or daughterboard) and cable to you. If they don't then it's not the real product.
