Hey guys....

Im really stuck and I just wanted to get some advice...

Im at the point financially where I can buy DSMLink without having to save up that much money. The only problem is, Im still on the stock fuel system (stock injectors, pump, etc). So Im trying to decide to either get injectors, a pump, and a logger (since I already have an safc) or go straight to DSMLink and run it w/ stock fuel for a little while until I get some injectors and a pump. So I dont really know where to put my money right now. Buy DSMLink so I can have a nice tuning set-up but on stock fuel (and buy injectors and a pump a little later on), or buy the injectors and a pump now, and throw in a logger so I can somewhat tune with the safc. Im only considering getting link right now because its a little more expensive than everything else, but I dunno if Ill be in this good of a financial situation again any time soon.

I would buy DSMlink first, because if you buy the injectors and put them in then you'd have to buy something to control them. With DSMlink you could get the most out of your setup right now till you have the funds to upgrade again.

True. I do have an SAFC to tune with right now so if I was to get injectors, I could control them with the SAFC.

Just get the DSMLink for now and play with the settings and get used to tuning it. You'll save money because you won't be buying a logger or tuner which you will need when upgrading the pump and injectors. It sucks because you have to wait to get more power, but it is the safest and cheapest (unless you want to stick with an SAFC and don't want to upgrade to DSMLink) way to go.

edit: well you still would save money from buying a logger. I'd still go with DSMLink because there's still more power to be gained from tuning the stock setup.

DSMLink.

By your own words your flush at the moment and able to make the purchase with little effort. The fuel system can be purchased "a piece at a time" and will not require you to save up as much to start acquiring parts.

Another vote for Link. There are many more reasons for purchasing DSMLink than just controlling more fuel. It really does so much, you won't fully be able to appreciate it till you get it. It's one of those things that will grow with your car as it changes and evolves, and it'll always be there to help facilitate anything you do with your car. Logger, Code scanner, Tuning tool, Problem solver, etc. I'm extremely happy I got mine. Anyone who's used it will agree that it's probably the one best modification you can get for your car.

I say DSMLink. I was in the same boat as you and i never regreted getting dsmlink. Just have them input whatever size injectors you're planning to run later on, and while you're saving money for your fuel mods, learn how to tweak your link. Also, learning how to use link you may be able to squeeze out a lot of power without requiring additional fuel mods allowing you to spend money in some other stuff like maybe a maf-t etc. etc.

Another vote for DSMLink. Depending on what size injectors you plan on running, the S-AFC might not support then well or at all. Plus, you can tune your car more with the link than with the S-AFC. And you then have a logger which everyone should have. Plus all the neat features DSMLink comes with...

And I agree with JayRolla as to get the link, sell the S-AFC, and use that money towards the injectors.
