So I just got my tax return and I'm thinking of getting DSMlink. If I get DSMlink now and stay with stock injectors will I have to do any tuning our can I just run stock fuel and timing maps?

Yes just fill in the questions before adding to your cart and it will be plug and play, you wont have to tune a thing. :hellyeah:

But you wont go long without changing something! :sneaky:

Just a little better fuel map will add alot more power and better milage you will be amazed at the diffrence a tune with ecmlink will make over your stock tune.

I would get dsmlink now. You can just plug the ecu in and run it like stock. Now you will be able to log your car, check sensors, have awesome features, and learn the system before you decide to upgrade. Please pm me if you would like to buy a Dsmlink system

+1

ECMLink is totally awesome. I got the Lite version for now, but I plan to upgrade later, and I won't even have to sent in the chip. I'm still on the stock T2Small, but ECMLink already has gotten me better MPG, and let me fine tune some things I wouldn't have been able to otherwise.

I already learning tons more about my car thanks to ECMLink and am looking forward to making the jump to SD!

Watch Basic tuning, initial setup, and fuel trims. When you actually have Link, watch the others.

start [ECMTuning - wiki]

These are your new best friends when you first get link.

When you buy link, there is a spot to put the size of the injectors and MAF type that are on your car right now. They adjust it so that when you hook up your ecu, it is pretty much just a plug and play, base tune. Then you can go on the ECMLink forums for help.

Yes thank you that was helpful.
The smartass attitudes on the otherhand isn't helpful and this forum would be slot better without it.
You can't learn without asking questions.
