what do you guys think i have made some significant mods as you can see in my profile. i am now starting to tackle the fuel situation since i just bought the EVO III 16g. i have a walbro 255 and a fpr. just bought a logger and a laptop so i can keep the laptop in the garage to load all of my info to the laptop.
i plan on buying some bigger injectors in the future(650cc). i am on an extremely tight budget and want to make sure i can run my car properaly though. for engine managment i have 3 gauges , logger , turbo timer , and a boost controller. do you think i should have a safc-II ??? or can i wait until i buy bigger injectors??

On stock 450s you can pull about 5% of fuel out with an SAFC in my experience. After that, the injectors are maxed. If you go with bigger injectors you WILL need some kind of airflow controller like an SAFC or you will be running super rich. If you go with 650s you will have more difficulty tuning because you have to hide more airflow from the ecu which will hurt your timing maps (for why this is so, you can read any safc tuning guide). If you use a piggyback airflow controller you should stick with 550s on an SAFC. It will make getting a good tune much easier for you and will provide enough fuel to take you to 350 whp or more on a great tune with that turbo
