Scarborough,
Hey guys how are you? I posted a few weeks ago that when my car would hit boost it would just fall on its face and wont go anywhere. Anyway after diagnosing the problem for a while, I found out it was a MAF. So I had a spare 2g MAF laying around and that fixed it.

Anyway now I have a new boost problem its inbetween shifts. Lets say I am in 2nd gear WOT and shift to 3rd and go WOT the boost takes long to build around. However lets say I am rolling in 3rd around 3000 RPM and I punched it, it kicks in right away.

The turbo is only a 14B. Anyway I tried hooking up the MBC the other way (backwards) and I found out that the boost kicks in right away no matter what I am doing. However, the car builds unlimited boost so its very dangerious. So could this be a MBC problem?

I noticed in the log I am running pretty rich Air to Fuel ratio wise. But my duty cycle is around 89%. Another messed up thing is that my BOOST gauge reads 14-15 psi and the BOOSTES only reads around 10-12 psi. Whats up with that? He is my log, and suggustions in tuning? Thanks a lot guys

Can't upload the log because its an invalid file. If you guys want the log I can e-mail it to you or something.

Don't trust alot of the values in DSMLINK unless you have it tuned already, or at least calibrated for your car. As some of my old logs indicate I was running 40+ lbs of boost and getting 60% injector duty in spots that were definitely more than that.
As for the "lag" it's sounds normal, I mean I'm not sure how bad it is but that happens in any turbo'd thing I've driven. The turbo's slowed alot from shifting and has to be built back up. But when you punch it in 3rd it's just waiting for it. Considering that you have a 14b, you may have an issue, but again I'm not sure how bad this "lag feeling" is.
Have you tried posting on the DSMLink forums?
Good Luck :thumb:
