dsmlink DTC

hey guy's i have a question, i have a 1g dsm with dsmlink.. how do you check your DTC's? like engine codes... can anyone tell me how to get to the DTC after i plug in my laptop? thanks in advance.

1. Turn key to ON position, but car doesn't have to be started.
2. Fire up ECMlink software on laptop.
3. Click "Connect" button to connect laptop to ECU.
4. Click "ECU Config" button.
5. Click on "DTC" tab.
6. Read error codes and short descriptions.
7. Search on here, Google, or other forums for how to solve problems.
