Also if anyone knows that Frank guy in point let me know. I hear he is the DSM junky in point. I also beleave he ended up with one of my old 1g talon AWD's. It was a white one that was kinda beat to hell. I would like to see what he's got under his hood...

Hey since it sounds as if all you guys have multiple cars or know people with multiple cars, you should hook me up. I am in a desperate search for a nice winter project to build up. I perfer 1ga, but will entertain others, also must be pretty clean. Let me know

I have a friend that has a 95 TSI AWD, Black, auto, power everything, has about 80k original miles and is having the engine rebuilt right now. It should be all done in a few weeks. I think he will sell it for like 3900 or something like that and thats with the engine all rebuilt. Great winter car/daily driver. Let me know if your interested and i can get you some more info.

by WIR i meant Wisconsin internation raceway in kauakauna- so we could all drag race. But im actually in Stevens point right now which isnt that far from Wisconsin rapids, so i guess i wouldn't mind going their either.

Hey..I'm friends with frank...if your old white car was a 1991 tsi awd, that car is now a 10 second car I live in point too, lets all meet up one of these nights..i really suggest downtown stevens point on friday or saturday, then frank wil be down there(most likely with the race car). If anyone sees a silver 1ga with "extreme DSM" stickers on the side windows..thats me, i'll wave..i at least pop my headlights up for every dsm i see.

HAHA, MY OLD WHITE AWD IS A 10 SEC CAR?!?!?! WOW, I used to beat the crap outa that car. It was like stock accept for a fuel pump and a 50/50 differential. I used that as my winter beater and i used to take it out into the field in the winter in a 1 1/2 foot of snow. I loved that car. It went throught like 4 of my friends too. I think i will come to point on friday night, where should i go or where will you be. On HWY 10 or Post road? Let me know, I will bring my talon and and maybe my cobra if i have a friend come with.

If you don't mind, what did Frank ran last week at RSD at Kaukauna? I didn't get a chance to talk to him afterward. I saw Frank run the first time and he couldn't get off the line. I don't know if his car is not set up right or something, but it pulled hard once its moving. I will try to be there at WIR at the next RSD event. See everyone there.

yea...franks better run was the 2nd run..he had major traction issues...i.e. spinning through the first 2 gears. I can't remember if he launched in 2nd gear or not though. He ran an 11.2 at 132mph. I'll be down there at about 9....most of the guys don't show up till later...fyi, there is some white trash in the shopko parking lot(downtown main street), so if you come a bit later..then better, you'll figure out where the real people are . The best thing..is the car didn't break! He is pretty well tuned...but theres always work to be done..just nice to finally have a stupid timeslip. Theres still some more stuff up his sleeve that isn't done on the car...if you stop downtown and see the car..you will see it .

i really only hang out with the dsmers....There are alot of dsmers there...at one time there may be 4 red 2g eclipses...haha...pretty funny to see them all roll into the parking lot. But last weekend at one time we had 7 dsms there..all turbo awd's. Just park by the other dsms and you'll be fine..if nobody is there yet..go for a drive, like i said..i'll be there at 9ish...i promise, haha. If you want i could meet you somewhere before hand.

Yeah, i know the kid that has the 3000GT.....is a non-turbo front wheel drive, not the vr-4..if you would like, there is going to be a dsm get together in point tonight. if you would like to come, give me a call at 715-305-9999. I will help you on directions if you need to.

I am not bringing my cobra. Tonight is DSM night. Cobra has to stay home. Look out for a blue AWD talon and an orange talon AWD w/ a blitz kit. We will come to point around 8 or so I think.

Pretty good night...except that my clutch couldn't take the launch later in the night...i can still drive the car..but its bad even launching at 3 grand now. This car is done for a while now.

sorry i missed the meet on Fri. I was at the eve of destruction in kaukauna. I should hopefully be in point this weekend though if anyone will be meeting again. and I will definitely try to make it WIR on Oct. 7th for the real street drags and our dsm meet.
