Very nice man I'm right behind you on the injectors... just got some Evo 560cc and working on a wideband A/F gauge so I can start tuning myself! On a side note car is in the shop had some wierd stuff happen yesterday with it, Ill fill in the details a bit later at work now and dont want to get in trouble!

Don't let that damn J-O-B get in your way...set your priorities!

I got some wrench time last night and finally fix my small oil leak off of my sending unit / turbo feed brass-T...on top of that I created a monstrosity by adding two more brass-T's to the existing connecting my oil temp and pressure sending units to my gauges which is a tough fit behind the engine block but it's done!!!

And I finally decided upon a set of shocks for the DSM: Tikico HP's, which I bought off of eBay yesterday for $250. And while I was on that subject of replacing shocks, I also picked up a new set of Monomax's for the Taco pickup which are also past due... I love working on new projects (when they work out correctly, that is)...

Like said before hit up PIR on Friday and Saturday nights. Most of the old school DSM guys in the NW have moved onto Evo's. I will be at PIR this coming Saturday night helping my friend with his 1g drag car. I may run my car to(if they let me. Been kick out a few times now LOL). Its a green GVR4 with a big ass ### diamond star in the back window.

i live in stayton but i drive up to portland twice a week, i just finished my talon after 5 freaken years of it being in the garage :rocks:

Right on...and just for the record, Stayton sucks ass...it's a gossip cesspool and reminds me of the dirty south (sorry, I had to live the majority of my youth just ouside of that town...)

Good deal, I haven't been to PIR in years so I'll have to run over there one of these nights...

haha yeah bro, tell me about it... my neighboors even know what time i go to bed :toobad:...

... i was gonna take my car to portland this weekend but cottdangit!! it started to overheat ... i been checking it, and i think my thermostat is crap so i just bought a new one, hopefully that will fix my prob

Good stuff good stuff... yeah I am going to finish painting the stocker rims tomorrow and get it in this week or next for an alignment and possibly get the windows tinted. Gratz on the five years of work getting the car running man! As for PIR I am a little afraid to show my car off there until I get my damn hood replaced.... someone back home in montana hit it and didn't even leave a note! Luckly it only damaged the hood so a CF hood is on order sometime in the near future! Maybe we could organize a little run to PIR one of these weekends.... would hate to go by myself and sit around with no one to chat with let me know what you guys think and maybe we can get a little run going, I know I would be down!:thumb:

I might take a cruise tonight and do some data logging.... saw some hon-duhs rolling around last night and would like to catch them while in the bishi rather then a friends junker ford focus.... One was actually turbo'ed as far as I could tell so I am hoping for a little fun:sneaky:.....we will see....
till later, be safe and have fun!

yeah man that be nice, at the moment though, my car is back in the garage. Im having some coolant problems and im waiting on a part that should arrive this monday. my plan is to get this car fixed by this week, if nothing goes wrong that is (i think my car doesn't know how to be outside the garage anymore haha)

aah yes, them rice hondas. Before this coolant problem happened, i was on my way back home on the hwy when i bumped into this little green civic with a laud muffler. I was on the fast lane just cruising by and slowly passing him, but this little dude saw me and started to play around. All i did was downshift and that was the end of it (this is with my car no tunned very well) i saw the poor fella trying to catch up haha... good times.

Hey, is anyone going to be at PIR on July 5th? I'm going and I was wondering if anyone else was planning on going. :thumb:

Hey everyone, im from milwaukie right outside of portland, and was wondering if there was any dsm shops or shops that deal with dsm's or just any recomended shops around here. and i also wanted to take out the a/c in my car just wondering if anyone could tell me how or provide some pics thanks alot. maybe ill see some of ya at p.i.r sometime.

:dsm:

yeah ive heard that english racing is a good one. where are they located at?

and i still havent taken out the a/c but still want to. just a couple questions, if i do, do i still need to run fans or would i be good with just a radiator? and where are the components to the a/c? thanks for the help guys and ill take a look into english racing sometime do they do tuning like a dsm link or a maft. i was looking into getting a dsmlink.

Give us a call anytime 360-210-7484. It may take a few times to get us but keep calling its ok. I have tuned 100s of DSM's MAFT, Link, Pro, SAFC, AEM EMS.

We can also now read knock on 2g stock ECU so I feel a little better about pushing the MAFT, SAFC tunes a bit further.

alright thanks guys i looked at the website and it said that you were in camas wash so i might have to take a trip up there sometime thanks alot.

Hi everyone!

I haven't yet posted here really- I mainly just read tech articles and learn. However, I was wondering if any of you know of a shop in SE Portland I could take my car to that maybe some or any of you have had a good experience with.

I was out in Tillamook and the car just started squealing really badly- I shut it down and had it towed back. Sounds like a banshee. I'm going to look at it some more and see if I can figure out what it is, but I need to get it fixed.
