Well, I post this here because perhaps is a stupid question, but I´ve been seaching and can´t find any answer.
Will Evo IX headgasket fit in a 2G DSM??
I have an Evo IX OEM MLS Headgasket at home, I have put it on my 2G block and it looks like it will work no problem.
Thickness on EVO IX gasket is .040 and DSM OEM MLS is .051, both compressed, so CR is increassed or decreassed 0.1 at most.
Well, question is because I have it at home, it came out of my friend´s Evo IX and doing a quick search you can notice that the DSM MLS is about $160 and the EVO IX one is about $80, that is twice the price for a part with at least the same quality.
So what do you think?? anyone has used it in a DSM?[DOUBLEPOST=1408452582][/DOUBLEPOST]OK, problem solved, it doesn´t fit there are some holes in the block that don´t fit the EVO IX HG anyway, so sorry for the silly question
