Had some fun last night. I saw some really clean cars as well. I guess next time I'll make sure to wash mine. It still had the numbers from the last event I went to. Hopefully next time I can mingle a little more with everyone else. As for the track, man did it suck. It was just too cold out and I could not get any traction in first gear. I almost had the settings dialed in for the suspension on the last run but was too afraid to break something due to the massive amounts of wheel hop I was getting. Time to invest in some 16" wheels and sticky tires. Hopefully next time out I'll have some cams installed as well.

hey so witch car was yours?... ### i might have gotten you on camera. i was there almost all night recording a bunch of races. it would have been nice to have seen some more AWD's out there. i know there was a silver 2gb with launch control that was pretty impressive. any body want to claim that car as theirs?

That would be me. I was hoping to get an 11.5 that night, but the track was not cooperating. I was running consistent 119mph, though. I would like to get into the mid 120's next time out. The 18's were killing that night.

Yeah the track was pretty bad last night. I was spinning through second gear and had to let off a few times because of wheel hop. Got a few 110 mph traps out of it but sticky's were definatley needed.

I'm an AWD talon (dk green, stock wheels...). Fastest was a 14.53. I was dissapointed, installed my mbc finally and was ready for a 14.2 ish, but could not get a decent launch. I'm a noob and was expecting the 3 light count, and instead got the pro x-mas tree... :coy:

So when do you guys wanna do the next DSM Meet???:dsm:
The next midnight madness is Feb 9th, or we can hit up the "Street & Grudge" days
(since there during the day)?
Heres the TRACK scheduele Welcome to San Antonio Raceway
Any suggestions help, i know theres been talk about bbq, install days, etc.. so let me know and ill post and "advertise":D

A barbeque sounds pretty good. I think we should just do it on a regular track night. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of big events, because more people are there, haha. I think we should organize another one, have a barbeque or whatever we wanna do, and head to the track on a normal night. It would be cool to to be able to run and watch mainly DSM's. IMO

I sent an email to San Antonio Raceway about "renting" the track for a day. I'll let you guys know how much they charge and what days they have open.

I'm gonna be going down there almost weekly or at least every two weeks on test & tune. I pulled a 17.2 in my gsx. LOL. I think it was mild undetectable boost leak, plus no boost breaking. Second run i put on a 1g bov, had a good launch (still above 2sec though), but hit my head on the steering wheel because of fuel cut because of massive boost leak.

LOL. I'm almost positive that you have a couple of boost leaks. Whenever your in town let me know and we'll run a boost leak test on your car :thumb:
