Well we had a meet tonight. No pics tonight cause I didn't bring my camera. Meets are Monday/Thursday.

Would be hard getting that board active seeing that most of the posts are dated back in early 2008/late 2007. Would be nice to see it active again though.
 
Give it a try, I hate to see it getting wasted by inactivity, its still being paid for by the month.
 
If i recall the original dsm meets were at a dennys on Bird RD sw 40 st ? Why did they change it ?

If I can't make it tonight I'd really like to try and get to some every now and then. I'm probably older than most of you guys (44) but I'll bring my nephew so I'm not so out of place :)

The main issue with these kind of meets is the cops show and bust em all up I hear. I know it happens at the Checkers and ocassionally by Shorty's BBQ.
 
yeah cops dont really bother us here and doesnt matter what age we dont really race we just talk there so cops dont really have a reason to come and yes it La Caretta we needa make miami dsm known once again...im tired of hondas!!!
 
No, I think you are thinking Bird and 97th ave.

La Carreta is on the SE corner of SW 40 Street (a/k/a Bird Road) and SW 87 Avenue, Miami.

This is about 1 1/4 mile +/- WEST of the exit of SW 40 St (Bird Road) and the SR 826 -Palmetto expressway. Another big landmark is Tropical Park which is a large Miami-Dade County park on approx. Bird Road and SW 80 Ave.
 
how was it last night, i saw this red 2nd gen eclipse on wednesday with white front clips
 
Last night was probably the biggest meet we've ever had in a very long while. A lot of people showed up and I wish I had a decent camera to take good pics but it was really dark where we met up at. Not much lighting.

Anyway we all decided that we were going to have a BBQ on Sunday the 22nd of February. It'll be around 11am and almost 2 weeks in advance from now that way we have time for people to meet up.

It was really dark, but the meet was awesome, and COLD. But none the less was probably the best meet so far. We had a huge turn out.
