DSM Meet Austin/Round Rock??

Still down and its beyond any thing i can think of right now... im lost!! my mind is BLANK!!

fuel pump works... fuel getting to the rail, but AFPR gauge reads no pressure, and car wont start, i tried starting it last week and it started for about 10 secs then slowly died!

I post a thread and people keep tellin me the SAME thing.... i say... IVE DONE THAT ALREADY!
cant figure this out man.. this sucks!

Sorry to hear that bro. Do you have an after markert fuel pressure regulator? Have you tried replacing that yet? Keep us posted.
 
Well i'm back up and running..HAHAHAHA.... Darn A/C Clutch was grinding bad so I just cut the belt and Vola no more grinding..LOL.. The one thing that bothers me most is I need a freaking paint job...:cry:

im starting to get into fights with my chick now... stress about our car situation!!
its become more then just a headach!!!!
 
So what ever happened to a meet. Did I miss it. Don't make me hang myself. Aight but on the reals whats up. We got something planned or what.
 
haha shit... i just got my car started two days ago, got happy drove about 500 ft from my house turned around and got pulled over hahah in front of my casa... no tags, no inspection, no insurance!!!
got a ticket for no tags but there is some small things i need to fix and tweek and ill be ready for one... of course AFTER i get my sh*t all ready with the tags and crap!

Dude you got the car running - that's awesome. What was the problem after all? Not sure about Austin, but San Antion is alive with DSM activity once again. We had about 10-12 cars at the last gathering.

haha the Fuel lab AFPR was faulty!!
Not sure why but i bought it brand new off some one... so im shit out of luck!
And YES it was New.. haha it was still packaged and everything!

but now i got some small things i have to tend to, well i hope there small... i think my powersteering pump is bad and eating up my belt or something but ill look into that... worst case with that is i take the powersteering out of the car... free up some horsepower AND build me some mean ass fourarms hahaha!
 
Man that's awesome that you got your car started! And was that cop watching you work on your car over the months and like "finally he's mine!!"??? That's nuts! I *should* be ordering my exhaust on Thursday. I really hope so at least. Maybe 2 weekends from now, I'm in for a meet. If sooner, I'll just show up without the TSi... So can we start talking about a date again. Let's set something...

Well in San Antonio we usually meet at Biffs on Friday nights, and on Sundays (which is a little better turn out) its at Culebra and 1604 behind Mama Margies.
 
Just saw this thread, I'm moving from Chicago to San Antonio @ the end of the month. I'll be around the O'Connor and 1604 area. Really looking forward to bringing my GVR4 with me.

sweet... with your setup youll be pushing some good numbers... what you thinking youll hit?

Im working on getting the tittle back, and all my tags and stickers done soo i can break this puppy in already....
OH and one thing... can anyone help me get (in this area) a working ISC mines bad soo my idle is jacked... its kind of hard to do my timing with the idle flexing up and down?!?

I got my exhaust ordered. It should be here on Wednesday. I hope to get it finished on Saturday night. We'll see though, since that will be Halloween. I'm in as soon as I get that done.

na but im hoping to get my title back from my father by then cause he never signed it over to me!
im in austin his it iowa.....
once i get that, ill get my tags ans crap updated and out on the road my baby goes....

what kind of exhaust did you get tragdor??

I got a 3" setup from Dejon Powerhouse. It comes with a downpipe that is 2.75 before the flex section, and is adjusted to fit the EVO III O2 housing better. I got the dual 3" tip Magnaflow muffler, so it should sound nice. The last part of it will be to have a local shop install a cat so I can pass emissions (kit didn't come with one).
 
haha ya i have a VRS performance 3" turbo back with test pipe... im looking into getting a cat altho i dont think i would really pass with my EGR blocked off!
