Do you not have time to do that turbo swap, or maybe just dont have the know how. Let me give you a hand. I can do it all 1g, 2g, awd, fwd, head swaps, fmic installs, transmission rebuilding, engine rebuilding, electrical troubleshooting, and ecmlink/SAFC tuning. Just hit me up with a pm for an estimate. I have done work for a few members, lots of work on Gofer's car, lots of work on goodbuds car currently rebuilding his motor, and many more. Sorry no body work, other than that nothing too small or too big let me do it right the first time.
 
how much just to look at the car? as you remember my car is sitting in the barracks parking lot across from the armory, i dont have time to look at it. Im on the boat as we speak and get back friday, let me know what you can do. Thanks
 
Do you work out of a shop? Sorry for asking but the parents will most likely be paying for repairs, so they like to know this stuff
 
Well I pretty much don't have any low end power going to the ground. I get on the gas and it sounds like it just grinds. It does this any time there is a load on the car (i.e. going uphill or accelerating through a turn).

that almost sounds as if the torque converter is going bad but i can look at it all

Can you do a awd swap

I have the donor car with all the parts. I'm just looking for a real clean 2g spyder to do the swap too ill let you know when I need it done. Can you pm me a price and a contact number
 
Can you pm me with a quote for labor if I get parts, including a shift kit and new end clutches(just to be sure).

Just wanted to vouch for banishedmunk. Did the timing belt job on my VR4 and was great. Real honest and did a thorough job.
 
this is so perfect i was looking for someone who knows the dsms that could do my timming on my 6 bolt swap 97 head. i need it to be done correctly i did it my self the first time and bent 10 valves, the motor is out of car and i will put the head on and torque down i just need someone to do the timming and also teach me how to do it correctly for next time, i have the timing tools text me at 619-861-1699 or 858-539-6614

BTW, if you are installing the head on the block yourself, i recommend leaving all the pistons down in the hole at least 1/2 of and inch so that none of the valves will hit the pistons as it is installed.

the pistions are at top dead center and so will the head i have the ams timing tool that holds the cam gears in place but i havent put the head on yet so i could do that for you. and its at my dads auto body shop on a engine stand i really just need help with the timming belt because when i did it the belt sliped teeth after a day or so of driving the car

Sorry, for the confusion. for some reason i thought that the poster i replied to was looking for help, as an original post and didnt realize the was a propitiatory thread of sorts.

I dont under cut or "snipe" competitors services (esp on DSMs).

I also wanna vouch for banishedmunk (kris) for doing an awesome job when it comes to working on diamond stars. He doesn't overcharge and is very organized and thorough. So I personally recommend him to anyone who needs stuff done from basic maintenance all the way to fwd to Awd swaps.

damnit, i just had my water pump and timing belt replaced. I'll be sure to hit you up when I start adding to my Spyder
