I have heard nothing but good things. Jeff is great to work with also. I have a stage III with Phantom Knock code, and some other stuff I needed and the car runs very smooth and strong. Worth the money. Allthough, if you have the $ dsmlink is the awesome. :rocks:

I have one as well and can say that Jeff is awesome. Make sure you have a 95 EPROM ECU socketed for the chip. I had him do a stage III for me and upgrades have been inexpensive and the customer service has been top notch. The great thing about his chips is that they run a conservative timing map, which allows you to run more boost on pump. As an example, I run 18-19 psi on a 16G with 550's and a 190 pump (on the stock sidemount) with zero knock. My setup is:

1998 GSX AWD
No Fuel Cut
No Airflow Cap
550cc Injector Deadtime
Octane Reset
950 RPM Idle
Boost Gauge measures Knock Sum
Stock MAS
Stock Timing Curve (16 degrees)

I originally had the stutterbox programmed in, but since there were issues with my speed sensor, I'd hit the stutterbox while moving in any gear. Without it, I have no issues and the deadtime correction on the 550's was perfect. I'm not a fan of the S-AFC so this setup is perfect for my needs. It's simple, upgradeable and very practical even though I had to buy the ECU.

Hope that helps!

Andy

Does anyone ever search anymore? Did you try Dsmchips forums? How about Fullthrottletech.com's forums? Or even the Yahoo DSM-ECU group? Jeff is a fixture. And a good one at that. Search and ye shall find. Ask the repeated and you bloat the database with the same question over and over again.

So to make your question useful, I'll add to andymoraitis: additional burns are about $20 each. So if you change your setup in a year or so, this is a no-brainer. I burn my own chips, but often I don't stay on top of the developments in the DSM ecu-mod community and find it convenient as hell to just Paypal Jeff $20 bucks, get a chip with the latest code, and plug it into my car. Bingo, done, no worries.

:thumb: 5 star rating for Jeff. He doesn't get nearly the amount of praise he deserves.

I had him program a target A/F ratio, and a timing map that is limited for the higher boost applications. The car runs great, smooth as hell.
