Ok the car mods that i think are important here, Denso 720 injectors, Walbro 255 FP, K&N Billet high flow fuel filter, AEM FPR & Fuel rain, -6 AN SS Fuel lines.

Heres my problem, i always understood taht with an aftermarket FPR like my AEM one the fuel pressure would indcreas by 1 psi bor every 1 psi of boost you make, my normak fuel pressure is about 42 PSI but when i romp on it and make full boost (23.5 PSI) my fuel pressure drops to about 35 psi instead of going up to 65 psi.

Now the only thing i can think of is that my injectors are using so much fuel my fuel pump cant make the pressure stay up, but all my fuel components are good for more hp than i think im making (375 whp)

Any help would be great

What is your actual base pressure set at?
I am going through the same thing, but my regulator is so damn high I cannot start so I am re-engineering a few things...

For the most part, base pressure should be in mid-upper 30's.
And yes it SHOULD rise at a 1:1.
I doubt it is the pump not keeping up, why are you asking? are you running lean or ?

my pressure is set in the stock 43 psi area, im not running lean i have an aem ems so i can just dump more fuel in at the click of a button if i need it. im asking because i want everything running correctly and if this int running right it might be because something else is broken of failing.

i have an afpr and when the car is idling its only at 30 psi.... is that normal? im running a 255 hp fuel pump, 650cc injectors, safc II, and the afpr....

thanks,

kevin

Are you sure the vac line to the AFPR has no leaks? Also did you bypass the FPR solenoid and run directly to the boost nipple on the Intake Manifold?

One other thing to look at, check to make sure there is no boost leak around the AFPRs adjustment screw. My Aeromotive had a definite leak (I'm sure screwing up the 1:1 ratio) which I remedied with teflon thread tape.

im sure there is not boost leak, my boost guagge runs off the same nipple, and yes the silonoid is bypasses and is connected directly to the FPR, ill look for leaks in the regulator..
