tornto,
Hi! The problem occured last night when my transmission started leaking and I cant put it into any gear. But when it the car is off, the shifter slides into gear no problem. At first symptoms was the engine makes a whrilling sound when ever I back up, At some certain positions when stop, the whrilling sound or lour grrrr sound is there but when I start accelerating the sound goes away. Then last night, I was on 2000 rpm when I ease off the clutch, i heard a loud grinding sound followed by a smell of transmission fluid. My pedal was stuck to the floor but when I pump it it goes back up, i checked the clutch master cylinder fluid and it was topped off. This is the first time it happened to me, I'm thinking transmission, throwout bearing or clutch. When I start the car, I hear a loud grrr sound beside the flywheel. Any thoughts are deeply appreciated. thanks

Sound like your TOB is not connected to the shift fork any more by that TOB retainer clip.. But if you are leaking fluid I would dcheck that out while I was there!
