how much HP will this little mod give u and how hard is this on my airfilter i have a k&N?

The point of this to expose more surface area for air to get in. If you drill your airbox, you only can drill half of it (pre-filter zone), which is less than if you get the big conical K&N filter.

I say to save your stock airbox (which has lots of dead weight compared to an exposed element filter) and buy a good system. I have a K&N FIPK that's even smog legal in California. N/T applications can benefit more since AEM, K&N, etc. offer a true cold-air intake that draws cooler air into the engine.

ok to actually answer your question, drilling it will tender very little hp gains, maybe 1-2 FHP (flywheel horse power) It wont hurt the filter hardly any. And the main point of this mod isn't power its sound, its is pizzzzimp, LOL its ghetto but load as F***. pretty funny, noobs think your cars is beasty.

LOL! So true. If you have exhaust, be prepared to hear it get much lower. Pretty cool actually. I didn't notice any difference at all when I swapped out my hacked airbox with K&N for a short ram. Nothing but a slight whistle at certain points on the throttle from the TB.

so the K&N FPIK fits us 2GNT's?
