Hello,

I'm about ready to place my order for a rebuild of my bottom end with much beefier parts. I'm posting this to have some experts check over the list to see if I'm missing anything or if something can possibly be better (please show me the estimated price, also)

I don't consider there to be a budget on this but I don't wanna spend a fortune also..

Here is the list I've compiled thus far.

The goals for the car are sticking to 2.0L and reaching 550+ AWHP using a GT35R or equivalent with room to grow if needed.

8.3:1 Ross Pistons (.020 over)
Crower Rods
Fel-Pro Permatorque HeadGasket
Power Enterprise Timing Belt (<b>I think theres a better belt?</b>)
ARP HeadStuds
ARP Main Studs
ARP Rod Bolt Kit
ACL Race Main Bearings
ACL Race Rod Bearings
Balance Shaft Removal

Machine shop to knife edge crank

Blue printed/balanced

Also using all new drive belts, oil pump, water pump, and oem gasket kit for intake mani/exhaust mani, etc.

Thanks for advice/criticism ;). :dsm: :rocks:

Definitely gonna need to use a different head gasket. Either a Titan, or Cometic!

With those mods and sending it off to the machine shop. Do I need to buy anything else, or is that 100% it :)?

Technically the head gasket and timing belt aren't to be sent.. but the pistons, rods, bearings and main studs :)?

Thats eactly what I have except I used aluminum rods and car has run in the low 6's in the 1/8th on street tires and auto with 4600 stall. engine is now going in my daily driver with my t67 setup already on it.. a/c with a huge turbo in a car with leather =) <-- me leaving everyone i've raced on the street .

do you plan on getting the block o-ringed if you have the extra cash you might as well get it done and possibly look into a copper head gasket they work amazingly.

^^^o-rings is overkill and you are already going a good route. You just have to make sure the block and head are machined to 50RA or better for the felpro. toss some ARP L19's or A1 tech's headstuds and you are good to go.
