what is a good 3" downpipe that i can swap cats and test pipes for emissions. i will be bolting it onto an apexi 3" exhaust.

Any dp that isn't cat eliminating. I think Dejon might have an option for keeping a stock location cat, I could be wrong.

Perfect. Then a RRE dowpipe would be your best choice if you want to swap out a testpipe and a cat. The RRE downpipe is designed to directly bolt up to the Apexi Catback

+1 for RRE downpipes. I have their cat eliminator downpipe and it was a perfect bolt on to the Apexi N1 catback.

whats the difference between the long and short ones? do i get the one with o2 housing or no?

i could be wrong but i believe the long ones are for eliminating the cat, and if you are running a wb than you should get the o2 bung in it, i think thats right but not 100 percent pos.

Your half correct :) . The "long" RRE downpipe DOES eliminate the cat, but it does not eliminate the O2 housing. They have an option on their site whether to choose between a stock O2 housing or and Evo III O2 housing. Thats whats great about these downpipes: they bolt right up to your stock O2 housing. So, basically its a bolt in setup (for the "long" application) or you just need to get a test pipe or 3" cat (for the "short" application).

NOTE: These are only a bolt in setup for Apexi, Espelier and RSR Catbacks

^^^ Good info! Yes, they only fit the stock style o2 housing.

If you don't need a cat and plan to run a test pipe forever (like me), get the long downpipe. If you need to run a cat or swap from cat to test pipe for emissions, get the short downpipe.

Thank you. I also want to add- if you buy the "short" downpipe and don't specify that you want either a test pipe or cat, you will just get the downpipe and you will end up with a big gap in between your catback exhaust and the "short" downpipe. So... either choose test pipe or cat (or both) if you are going to get the short otherwise your just going to get the downpipe.

I bought an ebay catback system. The n1 style one. I believe the catback necks down to 2.5" to connect to the stock cat. This downpipe wont bolt up to that then correct? If it does not anyone know of one that will? I need to keep a cat where i live for emissions and having a lot of trouble trying to find a downpipe that will work with my setup.

Weeeeeeee!

Thanks a ton, i honestly could not find one forever! Looked everywhere but i guess not hard enough. A little pricey but will definately suit my needs!

These all don't eliminate the catalytic converter for sure? If thats the case then i will be ordering one of these right away to match up to my catback.

The ones I listed above do not eliminate the catalytic converter.
