Downpipe not connected to turbo

Finally bolted on my Turbonetics 57 trim and punishment Tial gate and o2 housing...but now my downpipe does not line up with the housing so it needs to go to a muffler shop. Will it be ok for the 5 min drive to the shop not connected? I dont want to melt anything from the heat of the ehaust and it sits really close to the altenator.

You will be alright, just take everything nice and easy and stay out of boost. Do not run it hard.

I'm gonna be driving it like that to get my exhaust made. If its only a few minutes away I don't believe it will hurt anything but don't take my word for it

It is best to get the exhaust gasses farthest away you can, but what can you do really? If you were to be asking about long term circumstances, I would definitely say no. But you are not, you are simply driving to get a downpipe fabbed up. If you take it nice and easy, you will be fine.

like i said i drove it for month like that and had no problems what so ever. It was super load tho. And your wide band wont be accurate

you should soo definitly just record a 2 step at 5500 rpm from the bottom

I had the same problem once, but i was able to get one bolt lined up and i go it a good as possible
