sunroof not connected, just resting there

ok so the sunroof has nothing holding it down. didnt know this until i pressed up on it and just lifts up in the back...wtf. it still works but this cant be good. what parts broke?

Don't drive the car with it like that, take it off and tape a plastic bag over the whole. Last thing you need is to have that thing fly off and shatter on the road, or worse ninja star into some poor guy driving behind you.
