I am looking into getting the buddy clube 2 body kit... I think the door caps look horrible...especially with the aftermarket side skirts. Has anyone found a solution to the door caps?

I think James is referring to the fact that the factory door caps do not come out far enough on the bottom to line up with aftermarket side skirts.

If that is the case, you can always use the stock caps as a reference and build them up to match the aftermarket skirts.

I can't really answer that cause I do not have Fiberglass experience. I think the stock caps are just plastic, but they are pretty sturdy and short. If done correctly I dont see why they would crack, just make sure that the door can still open all the way and still have clearance between the door cap and the fenders. But again I have no experience with body work.

those are 95 96 TALON caps, try a 98-99 eclipse door cap.

they are straight and flare more at the bottom...

then send me your old caps and skirts for being such a good pal and pointing this out to you so I can convert my 97.
