I've been told I have no compression and that my valves are (most likely) bent. I just wanted to check it out on my own so I already did a compression test and couldn't get compression and now with the leak down test my results seem to confirm also but I've never done this so I just wanted to make sure.
Anyway, so testing cylinder #1 I'm hearing air escape all cylinders especially #4. Wouldn't that indicate that my intake valves on cylinders 1&4 were bent and that 2&3 are either bent or just open since 1&4 are at TDC?
BTW I didn't really hear anything at the exhaust testing #1, nor under the coolant nor oil caps, which wasn't suspected.
Last question -I didn't check
anywhere else other than cylinder #4 for intake valve issues because I didn't know how to. I've read to check the throttle body and BOV line but don't know where that line is. And the throttle would be that little spring loaded mechanism with a cable attached to it correct? Do I just pull that back and listen for air to escape?
Thanks
