Does venting a SSQV cause idle problems?

I notice while doing a boost leak test no air exiting the outlet. But my stock 1g bov blows air when doing a boost leak test. Right now I'm venting on my 4g63t Colt and at times (once every 8 mins or so) the car dies at idle. Just wondering if the Bov is causing this.

Yes. You need a recirulatable BOV like we have one from factory... Greddy type-s/rs, 1g....
