Does this sound like the fuel pump is putting out all it can?

I'm just trying to get my car running right. I just installed a 3" turboback and turned the boost up to 13-15 psi. I have been running my car hard to see what it can do and today I was in 1st gear and once I got up to about 6,000 rpms, it seemed to run out of breath and stopped accelerating. The car also backfired out the exhaust once or twice when I let off the gas. Does it sound like my fuel pump wasn't putting out enough fuel?

Does the car studder at all? or almost feel like you slammed it in too low of a gear? The boost seems a little too low for this to happen but it could possibly be fuel cut.

Nope, I'm not hitting fuel cut. I just lose power after 6k, seems like the ignition or fuel was slowed down, I haven't did the fuel pump rewire, I'm wondering if that could be it.
