At a quick glance, you are running pretty rich at 10.6:1 on the last pull, and depending on your car's weight...I see closer to 400whp or so. It also looks like you have some minor tweaking left to do on the airflow at WOT. (To get a decent HP/torque estimate, you need to set the RPM/speed for each gear and enter the vehicle weight).

How much does the car weigh and what type of fuel are you running?

If you can lean it out a bit and/or add some timing without knocking, you should have some pretty decent power left in it at that airflow.

i set the weight with me in it wich is. 3150, i run 93 pump, and the speed is dead on with my speedometer, i know i have some power left in it. i really just want a 11.80 daily . as for timing i see you have a 2.3 like i do, so you know they dnt like timing thats why i started with an evo8 timing map, but i will try to add some. what do you think will add more power, leaning it out a lil or adding timing?

After looking at the log again, I'm guessing your mod list isn't up-to-date? Either something is way off, or you are running some fairy dust to hit a 10.6:1 AFR at 57 lbs/min on a set of 850cc injectors. :)

On that note... your IDC's are pegged though. What fuel pump are you running?

As to your question, I hadn't even noticed that we are on about the same setup with a 2.3l. I'm only running about 13* timing max; I think you'd be better off leaning it out.

But...I'm fighting fuel pump issues on my car right now (along with occasional spark blowout)...so I don't feel like someone that should be giving any advice at the moment. LOL

yeah, need to look at the fuel situation. That's probably the second highest IDC I have seen. Get some FIC 1050+ and they will help that. A bit rich, def outside of the power making range with the afr. But here is something I learned a while ago. when in doubt lean it out :). The benefit of leaning it out rather than adding timing is that the difference is you break hard parts with timing. EGT becomes a bigger issue when you are over 1650° F, but a short duration overshoot isn't going to kill everything instantly.

Cheers

98% Injector duty cycle... 58 lbs/min..... I think if I were you I would DEFINITELY invest in some bigger injectors PRONTO. Also, that is EASILY 450 whp. They say its about 9 whp per 1 lb/min and that equals out to about 522. 70-90 time is 1.69 which equals out to about an 11.3-11.5 1/4 mile pass. Just saying that thing is RIPPING. This is interesting though, I think with some better cams (not to bash web cams), maybe try some kelfords, and get a smim (my suggestion would be jmf race) and possible jump the rev limiter up to 7500-7750 you would be flowing ALOT more up top. Your setup now is fine, and your shift point is pretty dang good considering you are shifting right where the airflow is maxing out/falling off.

Just some suggestions for if you wanted to go bigger. Guess I better start rethinking my setup, im on t3 hx40 .70 ar 8 blade with 60 mm inducer and at 18 psi im only at 42 lbs/min airflow and your at 40 so not a huge difference.

1 more question, can you give some more specs on your turbo? You say bolt on so im assuming .55 ar mitsu flange, but how many blade and what size inducer?

Looking good!

And note to the guy that said he over ran his 2g maf. pretty sure he knows that as he has it clamped at 2750 and he is only seeing a max of 2900, not really THAT HUGE of a deal.

thank you for all the input, im still on 850cc injectors with an hp255 walbro but i bumped my base pressure to 43.5, that brought my a/f down from 11.5 to 10.6 but im lookin into some 1150cc's or so. dsmlink is awsome, its so easy to tune when wou can log everything on one screen, i remember tring to keep one eye on the tach and the other on the wideband and pray that my palm pilot stayed connected to recored any knock,, so glad those days are over. as for the turbo its just a 7blade hx40 with a .55 exhaust housing.i didnt measure it, but jusmx bought one from the same guy i did so i will ask him. also i think spool would be a little faster if i got a bigger wastegate, my 38mm has to start opening around 15psi to hold 27-30psi up top. so im trying to tune boost creep, LOL
and i see someone mentioned egts, i dont have a gauge but i run it a little rich bc of the low timing, i hear low timing can create high egts. what kind of egts do you see calan?

I have the 60mm 7-blade in a T3 .70 BEP housing, the same turbo that Ricky (dacowgod) made 575hp/521tq with at the '09 Shootout.

If you're running your wastegate off the o2 housing, going to a larger gate is not going to help as you're limited to whatever the hole in the BEP housing will flow. If it's unported, this hole is around 32mm if I recall, but very few people actually report creep issues....especially those running near 30psi where the turbine housing should have a ton of restriction.
