Does this have a possibility of messing something up?

So im fooling around with these cheap ebay UICP that I got, and im having the biggest part getting them to all connect right, mainly because i think these pipes were just not made for this car and whoever made them just randomly made some pipes, anyway thats another story.
But today when i "thought" i had them all on right i went for a test drive and everything was fine for the first blow off, 2nd blow off still fine. but then 3rd i heard like a blasting sound from the IC pipes. pulled over saw that the intercooler pipes popped off the throttle body. No biggie, put it back together and went on. Now seems even worse, of course i know what the problem is, my main concern is while im testing this out and these pipes leaking, breaking off, whatever they are doing this isnt hurting my car is it? Not hurting the turbo is it? i just dont want to be testing this trying to get it right and my turbo blows cause Im doing something dumb

Yes, it's bad. If your pipes don't fit, you definitely have major boost leaks. When your pipe pops off, it's boost leak armageddon. A boost leak overworks your turbo. Overworked turbos are not happy. Try to get everything together and boost leak free as soon as you can and don't be too stupid with test driving it (test driving, btw, is not a proper way to test your UICP), or get a proper UICP. Either way a boost leak test is mandatory.
