does this engine pic have a boost controller

just as it says...... im wondering what that yellow piece is coming off the left of the valve cover.... im goin to look at this car and im wondering if it has one if you can see or what to look for when im there.

That's definitely not a boost controller. Some type of filter. Look at the wastegate actuator and follow the vacuum line off of that to see if it has a MBC.

The Yellow Piece as you put it, is a filter that is traping the oil coming out of the valve cover and letting a air go to the intake pipe.

As far as the boost controller, I cant really tell. Why don't you look!

The yellow piece coming out from the valve cover is an oil catch. I dont see a boost control from the pic but you will be able to tell if there is one on the car when you look at it. Look for any mods on the wastegate actuator, and the bov line that should help you out with figuring out if there is a boost control or not....good luck!!!

However, it does still have its 2G BOV. That may be quite the cherry. If he has an MBC, he's either a clueless idiot, or may be lying to you about the car's past (with whatever BOV he'd been using to abuse the engine replaced with the stocker).

to answer the first question, there is no boost controller on that car.
none of the vac lines that are visable in the picture are tapped.

Yep, Its the DNP t3t4 Manifold

I have used it for about 1 summer season(last) has about 2000 or less miles.

No Cracks! this thing is grade A stuff I had the SFP manifold and it cracked and thats why I got the DNP.

There really isnt anything else to say bad about DNP except it is a little pricey but id say your gettin one badass lookin header and this thing will hold up to just about anything.
