Well, i have searched on here in the past for keyless entry. And since my interior is all out of my car for extensive cleaning it exposed alot of stuff. While i was putting in my shifter and replacing some things I remembered hearing someplace on here about the keyless entry thing being located on the drivers side of the car. But I really didn't know what to look for. So I snapped these pictures.

Can anyone tell me what this is? Is it keyless or something else?

Woops, I just saw this guys pictures. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/pro...9-gs-my-dd-97-esi-just-few-questions-mor.html

Looks like it does have keyless entry then. However it has never really worked on my keyfob. Since my power door locks don't work either would I just have to put in new actuators? Thanks

sounds like a plan to me :thumb:

So i guess I just need to find cheap door actuators to install then.

Does anyone have pictures of the stock lock actuators or do I have to go rip off my door panel? :(

I went and took a picture of my door without the panel on there.

I don't see any actuators or wires for them. But yet my car has the keyless entry setup. I don't get it, anyone know whats up?

I wanted to put in actuators like this guy runs.

indians32 & TeeWX98GST, you guys have vehicles that resemble very much like my very own car.

indians32 even manage to snap a photo in the same location with the same light and exposure when i took a very similar picture as well.

you have keyless entry since you have the module.

your actuators work if you press the unlock and lock button IN the car and the locks closed. if so then it just requires programming the fob.

LOL no it is not my car, i was just looking at cars on google and picked one i liked, i have a gst but not nearly as clean as yours. once i get it painted instead of the ugly ass primer i will switch it around LOL

by the way its nice as hell

Then mine don't work. However, where are the stock actuators located? When I press the button nothign happens and the left and right doors don't lock at the same time as each other when i flip the switch over. However there is a 10A fuse i believe for the locks that when installed ill make the car battery die overnight. So maybe my non moving actuators are drawing all night long trying to move? I don't know, shuold I get some ebay actuators and see if that will work? Just the actuators and use the stock relay and wiring.

if your actuators are draining your battery over night then they are shorted out most likely. well i should say the actuators, but that circuit is shorted out somewhere. if you have access to a dmm i would take some current readings through out that circuit and at the actuators. you should have 12v going into each one. if you dont then there is something messed up in the wiring. if you do then replace the actuators and it should work. just remeber to have the fuse in and car in the run position to take your readings
