does anyone know the compression 2.4 crank +oem rods+ oem pistons

Got a friend that just spun a bearing and wants to just throw a 2.4 crank it it? i know its possible but I told him it will be to high compression. He has eagle rods at oem lenght and stock je pistion .

I'm pretty sure that will cause the pistons to come above the deck surface on the block, so it won't work.

Wont work. That is considered a 2.3L stroker. He can use the rods but will need stroker pistons to correct the compression ratio.
