Does anyone know anything about these tires?

falken azenis pr-132a-01.. I can't find anything on the Internet about these.. They came with my 91 talon, I am assuming they are for mud. They hum like mud tires while driving, and the are horrible in the snow and worse on ice. (I get 10ft+ at my house). I am about to get my car back after a rebuild and need some snow tires, but I have a feeling these are worth something. I also am wondering if I should sipe them, if that would help and not ruin the tire that could be valuable. My guess is they were discontinued a while back or something.

I want to put on studded tires but I don't think they are dyno friendly :nono:

Yeah, I was thinking they were at like 80% but now that I've seen those I'm thinking less.. So I should probably keep or sell those and not get them siped? And buy a stud less snow tire?

Thanks! I've seriously been trying to find those forever on the Internet, I guess I'm not that good at searching..

Do you think they are sellable?

Since they're likely a medium or hard compound they're solid rocks under 60 degrees. (Snowtires are generally the equivalent of supersofts.. need flex to discard snow)

You might be able to sell them for a bill or two to a local auto-crosser, try craigslist.

They are like slicks on the snow... yeah I'm just going to sell them I think, even if I decide to rally at some point it doesn't seem like they would do that great in wet and cold oregon! Last year when I first drove it in the snow, I was so dissapointed in the performance, I was in awe. I bet with real snow tires I'll be passing all the sti's that were passing me last year!

Thanks for the great info guys!
