Does any one have a t04b turbo?

Hey got my 20g in the mail the other day. And the intake side is the same size as the t04b. But the exhaust side of the t04b is a hell of alot bigger. Plus there is no way you could bolt an o2 housing to the to4b.
So I don't see how the heck you could put a to4b on a dsm.

The 20G you now have is probly a tdo5H turbine wheel in a mitsu 7cm turbine housing. I think thats approx .49 A/R, compared to the 1.00A/R on that other monstar. Its the same turbine used in the 14B and 16G.(housing) A T4 can be put on a DSM, but, like everyone has previously mentioned, it takes a special manni, O2 housing, and lots of misc. stuff. The 20G will bolt right on, with only minor things. Im curious, did you get a 20G with an internal gate, or do you still need an external?

How can you tell if it need and external or if it has an internal?

my turbonetics t60-1 with a t4 .58 exhaust housing simply will not fit a t3 turbine housing, the blades are much deeper and have a different profile than the t3 unit could manage. i would hold on to the turbo and buy a new turbine section (300 bucks or so, after finding out what indeed you have) get the t4 manifold (500-575) an external wastegate (250+) a cutom exhaust and lines......well alot of money, but if its your goal, save your turbo, buy a t28 for now and learn, then when you have all the supporting mods, experience, and money, run that turbo.
