do i need uicp?

I bought a 1g bov with adapter for my 2g gsx. And its leaking from the Pipe where the old 2g bov went. My question is, if i get UICP, will that get rid of the old pip where the 2g bov went and the leak? And will i not have to use the adapter for the 1g bov?

Get a UICP flanged for a 1G BOV. A decent mufler shop can bend and weld a flange for you.

The stock UICP of a 2G is very constricted around the fusebox area, to a point it is flat and not round.
