Do I need the EXACT ECU???

Hi, turns out my 1990 Eclipse ECU is bad, already replaced caps and still have the problems but anyways...my car is a 1990 N/T FWD 2.0 litre Eclipse.

What happens if I put an ECU in from say, a 1991 to 1994 2.0 litre FWD N/T car?

What about a ECU from a 1991-1994 TURBO car, with the same specifications as the one above?

It will work but you have to change pinouts on the ecu and wires if it is a turbo 90 ecu to a 91-94 turbo ecu

Contact "steve" on here he does ecu repair. He does excellent work and has great prices.
