Do I need a whole new shifter (pics Inside)

So I recently got a 95 eclipse nt as my daily driver ( still have the gst). Everything thing runs fine except there is something wrong with the shifter, I thought the shifter was b&m at first but when i look closer it looks stock to me just cut. My problem is it is real loose and the part where the actual shifter is sits in the square metal piece, looks like someone stripped it. I took pics so you guys can see, im thinkin that i just need to buy a whole new setup.

It shifts fine but right now i have alot of free play , basicly after i put it into a gear it so loose it looks like its sitting in neutral. Thanks for the help in advance.

Looks as though its an ebay type short shifter, If it's your daily driver just pick up a stock one from someone
