Do i need a Downpipe when i replace my 4-1 header

Hey guys..,,

Do i need a downpipe when i only replace the header..??
because i can buy a new race header 4-1 from someone for a cheap price my
does anyone alos now how much inch the stock downpipe is..??

My header en and downpipe now are stock..

more than likely the downpipe will need to be replaced. our stock headers are very short in depth so the chances of the replacement header, especially if it's a tubed steel header, it wont fit. downpipes are easy enough to make or even find somewhere.
 
Post up a picture, Ive seen some that are labeled 4 -2 -1 header but it goes all the way to the cat. its like a header/down pipe in one.

cant be. you'd never get it in....there has to be a break. i have a 4-2-1 which came in 3 pieces. then 4-1s come in 2 pieces.
 
LOL. found out the hard way when replacing the stock pipes. bolts were all seized up so just cut the downpipe with my saws all near the cat and wouldnt fit....so i cut it into smaller pieces...
