Do I have to re-torque my ARP head studs?

As the title states, do I have to re-torque my ARP head studs after I have ran the engine?

Also, which mark on the timing belt cover represents 5* for the ignition timing? mine looks kinda like this 10 I

It is recommended to check them after a heat cycle. Just set the torque wrench and give them each another try and make sure they are tight.

okay, thanks, will do. do you know about the timing marks on the timing belt cover?

What do you need to know about them? The ones for base timing or the actual marks on the gears.

I'd check them personally, in the correct torque order too. I torqued mine to spec in 3 steps, checked it 2 days later and a few of them were not torqued to what I had set it to, a few were.

yeah you're supposed to torque them in 3 steps. 30lbs, then 60lbs, then 90lbs. Then ARP specifically states after 500 miles check to make sure torque is still in spec. And definitely do that in sequence. I've never had a problem with arps not keeping torque specs though

I did mine at 50, 60, 70, 80, and 90 ft-lbs. I'll pull the valve cover off and check soon.

About the timing marks, I'm refferring to the ones for setting the ignition timing. There is four marks and only one is labled, 10. Which is the mark for 5*?
