Do I have to measure the journal even if the size is on the bearings?

Basically just what the topic says. Do I need to measure the journal when the size is on the bearing? I'm just sick of waiting for someone to bring that tool, when I could just go ahead and order the new bearings without it.

I would just to be on the safe side. Believe me, you want to measure everything before you put your bottom end together. A micrometer and Plastigage are your friends :thumb:

The peace of mind is worth waiting for.
