Do eibach's make the car more stable? ### my DSM doesnt handle like my neon.

I have a 91 GST with brand new KYB GR2's (came on the car, not looking to replace) and 17" wheels with nittoNT450 tires inflated to 34psi. At higher speeds (70-80) on the roads around here, the car is floaty , disconnected, and unstable feeling. My neon was competely solid and predictable. I was wondering if Eibach prokit would 'tighten' up my handling, making it float less and feel more connected. I don't want to do suspension bushings, even tho they would prob help. I'm just wondering if the eibachs really make an improvement. I autocrossed the neon and would like to autocross my DSM sometime.

Eibach makes some pritty nice springs...prokit... But you might want to go with coilovers if you are doing 70-80 mph turns and you are getting lean in your car. Just means you need to stiffen up your suspension. Eibach will give a little of that but all in all there just oem springs that are bent for a lower highth.

Consider, front and rear strut bars as well...flea bay has a ton of them and they will help out alot especially for a super quick 30$ fix...I have them on my car, strait lines you can not tell but as soon as you start to turn the car you can feel the chassis tighten up...but thats my 2 cents...hope it helps

I WISH i could get coilovers!! Well, i honostly could, but i cant see spending alot of money on a 16 y.o. car. As much as i like taking turns fast and autocrossing, my DSM feels floaty and unstable GOING STRAIGHT!! Ill be going 70-80 down a slightly irregular stretch of road and the car just doesnt feel solid. Maybe the alignment is off as well?

I had strut bars on the neon so i think i might try them on the DSM... are the ebay ones any good? Has anyone tried welding the endlinks on them to stifen them up?

DO NOT get coilovers from fleabay.

UltraRev has some from Ksport. I would look around for reviews on those. They have some for Roadrace, rally tarmac, rally dirt/gravel, and street.

Slowboy also has some.

Yeah the flea bay sturt bars are just fine, I have ran them for 2 years now and I know alot of others who have them with no issues either...for 30$ or whatever it is, its not a bad deal for 2
